About the role
The United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) is seeking a Project Support Intern for its Environment Unit in Nagoya, Japan. The internship lasts 2‑3 months between July and December 2026 and reports to the Environment Programme Coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Update and manage invitee lists for the Regional EST Forum and the Regional 3R & Circular Economy Forum in Asia and the Pacific.
- Prepare and dispatch invitations to participating countries and experts.
- Collect, compile and upload electronic information received from participants to UNCRD web pages.
- Support research for papers and reports by gathering data from multiple sources.
- Assist in reviewing and analysing data and in preparing presentations for the forums.
Required profile
- Enrolled in or have completed a graduate programme (Master’s, Ph.D. or equivalent) or the final year of a first‑degree programme (Bachelor’s level or equivalent).
- Field of study closely related to environment, sustainable development, regional planning or a similar area.
- Availability for a 2‑3‑month internship between July and December 2026.
