AVP – Strategy & Onboarding (IDS)

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead strategy and onboarding activities for its Investment Data Services (IDS) function. You will work closely with global transition teams, internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth account set‑up, product launches and terminations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute account onboarding, product launch and termination processes with overseas transition teams and relevant parties.
• Manage miscellaneous account events such as IMA/guideline changes, custodian updates, cash/stock movements, account restructures and portfolio operational changes.
• Implement and maintain account and portfolio master data.
• Maintain and provide AUM and product information for RFPs and marketing purposes.
• Support the reporting team by producing, reviewing and distributing simplified reporting materials.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably asset management, with a basic understanding of investment operations and fund/account setup.
• University degree or higher.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage conference calls and liaise across departments.
• Self‑managed, proactive, able to prioritize work and adapt to change.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and collaborate as a team player.
• Project management capability.
