BUHR Lead – Orthopaedics

About the role

The Manager, Japan will support business operations, strategy execution, and organizational effectiveness for the orthopaedics market in Japan, partnering with regional and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of business strategies and operational plans for the Japan market.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to coordinate initiatives, priorities, and deliverables.
• Analyze business performance, metrics, and trends to support decision‑making.
• Contribute to planning, forecasting, and performance management activities.
• Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and internal control requirements.
• Support change initiatives, process improvements, and operational effectiveness efforts.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Handle document processing, records management, and compliance/admin tasks locally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations or related field (required); Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 6‑8 years of progressive experience in business management, operations or strategy.
• Experience supporting business operations in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese and English.
• Ability to partner with senior cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Veeva document management system.
• Business management and project management knowledge.
