Compiler Software Engineer (AI Edge)

About the role

Edgecortix is looking for a Compiler Software Engineer to join its deep‑learning compiler team. You will work closely with hardware and machine‑learning engineers to extend the compiler and toolchain that powers the company’s proprietary AI accelerator, enabling high‑performance inference on edge devices.

Key responsibilities

• Extend and enhance the compiler and software toolchain for AI hardware.
• Deploy machine‑learning models with high performance and flexibility on the proprietary accelerator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of production‑quality C++ development.
• 2+ years of Python development with pip packaging and C++ bindings.
• Experience with ML graph optimization and MLIR/LLVM frameworks.

Required skills

• C++ (production‑level).
• Python (including packaging and bindings).
• MLIR/LLVM.
• Git version control and GitHub/GitLab PR workflow.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of ML quantization and mixed‑precision inference.
