Customer Success Manager (Japan)

About the role

Anthropic is looking for its first Japan‑based Customer Success Manager to guide enterprise customers through the adoption of its Claude AI platform. You will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, helping clients unlock the full potential of Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusting, strategic relationships with Japanese decision‑makers to understand business goals and identify expansion opportunities.
• Become an expert on Anthropic’s product suite (API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code) and guide customers toward the right solutions.
• Drive usage planning and adoption, monitoring consumption patterns and proactively addressing under‑utilization.
• Collaborate with the broader account team to align on best practices, change‑management strategies, and value‑realization metrics.
• Provide feedback from customers to inform product development, research priorities, and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer success, account management, or enterprise sales, preferably in technology or AI.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Comfort operating autonomously in a fast‑growing, ambiguous environment across time zones.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
