Entry-Level Consultant (2027) - Tokyo

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh, is recruiting entry-level consultants in Tokyo for 2027 graduates. As a new joiner you will work on interesting problems for large clients worldwide, alongside senior colleagues and clients, with an apprenticeship model of learning on the job supplemented by formal training.

Key responsibilities

• Work on challenging projects with significant impact on clients, industries and society from day one
• Contribute to research and analysis, then develop communication, presentation and client-management skills
• Build trust-based relationships with senior colleagues and clients
• Take part in an optional rotational program around the second year, moving to Singapore or another mutually agreed location for 12 months before returning to Tokyo

Required profile

• Overseas-studying student available to start in 2027
• Fluency in English; Japanese fluency is mandatory for Tokyo, with JLPT N1 required for those who learned Japanese as a second language
• No specific major or industry experience required; initiative, intuition, creativity and a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset are valued
