About the role
The Field Sales Engineer will drive Arrow's growth in the Osaka region by identifying critical markets, building strong customer relationships, and delivering solution‑selling expertise across the electronics supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Define target markets and new customers, plan strategy and develop key relationships to support solution selling.
- Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts, ensuring satisfaction with supply‑chain and value‑added services.
- Prepare and present internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR) and lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock sales opportunities.
- Create demand for Arrow products and services by working with engineers and designers on electronic board designs.
- Promote and sell Arrow’s full‑life‑cycle programs, including supply‑chain and value‑add services.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers.
Required profile
- 4‑year degree with 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in a technical/engineering environment, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience interacting with vendors and customers in the electronics industry and familiarity with pricing programs and models.
- Ability to work under a sales compensation plan with variable OTE tied to sales goals.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
- Experience using Oracle and other sales‑tracking systems.
