HR Manager

About the role

A leading global provider of technology-enabled outsourcing and business solutions is recruiting an HR Manager in Tokyo. The role executes HR initiatives to achieve Employer of Choice status, works with the Regional HR Head on HR planning, integrates HR strategy into a performance-driven culture and collaborates with business heads on retention and capability-gap issues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run HR initiatives aligned with sustainability targets, refine HR policies and strengthen organizational culture
• Work with business heads on retention strategies and address capability gaps
• Run employee engagement and motivation programs, employee communication programs and proactive concern resolution
• Plan recruitment, hire fixed-term employees and trainees, assess manpower needs and design selection tools
• Oversee talent management, succession planning and coaching, and guide managers on performance assessments
• Set up and monitor reward and recognition programs, coordinate satisfaction surveys and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Support organizational development and promote judicious use of natural resources
• Follow the Anti-Bribery Management Systems manual and identify bribery-related risks

Required profile

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in a Human Resources role
• Graduate or postgraduate degree or globally equivalent qualification
• Behavioral competencies: communication, quality and service orientation, results delivery, teamwork, digital fluency, DEI orientation, leadership and entrepreneurship
