Internship in Quality Management – Data Science & AI

About the role

Join Bosch Japan’s Quality Management Customer Department for a challenging internship that blends day‑to‑day operations with project work. You will gain hands‑on experience applying data science and AI techniques to improve quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce data‑science and AI solutions within the Quality area in Japan.
• Improve and visualise existing IT tools used by the department.
• Support additional tasks related to the PS/QMC‑JP project.

Required profile

• University enrolment throughout the internship period.
• Availability for a 6‑12 month placement.
• Strong English communication skills; ability to work with English‑based databases that may contain Japanese data.
• Proactive, tenacious, reliable team player willing to live and work in a different culture.

Required skills

• Experience as a data scientist.
• Familiarity with programming languages and AI/machine‑learning technologies.
• Knowledge of relational data models and normalization methods.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience creating user forms and generating reports.
