About the role
The International Trade Centre (ITC) is looking for a National Consultant to map Japanese market actors, analyse their IT needs and facilitate matchmaking between Palestinian freelancers and Japanese clients. The role is home‑based in Japan and runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Map Japanese market actors across three tiers, segmenting by sector and service needs.
- Identify and document IT requirements of mapped actors.
- Deliver at least one webinar on working with Japanese clients.
- Organise online matchmaking sessions linking Palestinian freelancers with Japanese prospects.
- Prepare a monthly outreach and matchmaking report covering client engagement, meetings held, leads generated and any contracts secured.
- Submit all deliverables in English for validation before payment.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in market research or business development, preferably with a focus on Japan.
- Familiarity with digital freelancing platforms and remote collaboration.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently from a home office in Japan.
