About the role

The Logistics Operations III position, based in Haneda, Japan, focuses on monitoring logistics performance, ensuring compliance with quality and customs standards, and supporting process improvements that impact local operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and report internal logistics metrics and KPIs, monitoring exceptions.
• Maintain adherence to established business processes and support development of new processes.
• Implement process improvement projects to increase service levels and reduce costs.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Maintain logistic information databases with accurate data per corporate policies.
• Review inventory control reports, identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, and work in noisy environments.
• Demonstrated conceptual expertise in logistics and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Understanding of best practices and integration of logistics with other business areas.
• Ability to lead small projects and solve complex problems using sound judgment.
• Effective communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
