Manager, Corporate Communications & Employee Engagement (Contractor)

About the role

Tapestry's APAC Brand & Growth Strategy team is looking for a contractor Manager to work in a matrix organization, turning internal communications into a business driver. The role drives employee engagement as a strategic growth lever by building belief in Tapestry's vision, enabling behaviour change and strengthening employee advocacy, while supporting corporate communications for Tapestry Japan and culture-building across Coach and Kate Spade.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the growth strategy into clear, compelling local narratives and build an integrated internal storytelling engine (monthly gatherings, townhalls, intranet, newsletters)
• Design and deliver engagement programs that strengthen pride, belonging and advocacy, including social impact, cultural moments and employee recognition
• Support culture change and leadership activation, including change communications for initiatives such as Digital Workplace and AI
• Use video, visual and digital-first content, and optimise platforms such as LOOP and Teams
• Define and track engagement KPIs and set up feedback loops to improve communications effectiveness

Required profile

• 4-5 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, community building or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication in Japanese and English
• AI-literate and tech-curious, comfortable experimenting with AI tools
• Content creation experience across written, visual, digital and event formats
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while paying attention to detail
