About the role
Mastercard Japan is seeking a Manager to lead its Pricing and Interchange strategy. The role supports the Customer Economics function, helping drive payment growth and innovation through data‑driven pricing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models for Mastercard products.
- Conduct market‑level pricing analysis, benchmarking, and create initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
- Monitor and analyze interchange fee structures, model ecosystem impacts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the pricing and interchange subject‑matter expert for Japan, partnering with sales, finance, legal, regulatory, and product teams.
- Prepare and present analytical findings to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- High energy with solid analytical abilities and comfort working with data and numbers.
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and execution focus.
- Collaborative mindset able to work across multiple functions.
