National Operations Manager

About the role

The National Operations Manager leads Rhythm Rides’ operations across the key ski destinations of Niseko, Hakuba and Furano. Reporting to the Senior Director of Experiences, you will translate business plans into safe, consistent and efficient winter and summer experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the national operating model, standards and priorities for Rhythm Rides.
• Convert approved business plans into practical operating plans for each season.
• Ensure consistent application of systems, procedures and safety standards across all locations.
• Monitor national performance, risks and improvement opportunities, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop the Niseko Senior Operations Manager, Hakuba Operations Manager and Furano Location Manager.
• Set clear expectations, metrics and accountability for each location while granting appropriate authority.
• Oversee training coordination, workforce capability and management development.
• Drive operational productivity, labour efficiency and cost control.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in multi‑site operations, preferably within tourism, ski resort or guest‑experience environments.
• Strong track record of implementing safety systems, risk management and operational compliance.
• Ability to balance national consistency with local operational realities.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills to assess performance and recommend improvements.
• Effective communication and coaching skills to develop location managers and teams.
