About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced non‑technical project/program manager to lead and coordinate complex initiatives across its semiconductor and advanced display equipment business. The role focuses on defining objectives, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to product and process specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, and resource plans to ensure effective execution.
• Deliver projects in line with product/process specifications, cost targets, resource utilization, and schedule commitments.
• Document all phases of development and disseminate information to relevant functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
• Optimize utilization of material and financial resources and collaborate with staff to maximize productivity.

Required profile

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices for products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate complexity and risk.
