Operations Lead – Japan

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Lead (Japan) to build and scale a safe, high‑quality, and compliant clinical operation in one of our most important growth markets. The role combines hands‑on execution with strategic leadership, working closely with global and local product, pharmacy, and patient‑support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical input for new product launches and shape Japan‑specific models of care.
• Build and scale a reliable, high‑quality prescriber network, designing screening, onboarding and performance‑management processes.
• Monitor performance through audits and data analysis, manage incidents and complaints, and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Establish governance frameworks and safety protocols aligned with Japanese regulations, supporting regulatory readiness and audits.
• Collaborate with partners, operations, and patient‑support teams to ensure effective risk‑management and escalation pathways.

Required profile

• Experience in operations or strategy within a rapidly scaling organisation.
• Proven ability to build and scale teams or processes in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills across local and global teams.
• Fluent in Japanese (native level) and comfortable working in English.
