Operations Manager – Hakuba (Seasonal)

About the role

The Hakuba Operations Manager leads Rhythm Rides' winter operations in Hakuba, overseeing private ski and snowboard lessons and resort tours at Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba 47. This seasonal, hands‑on position ensures safe, efficient, and memorable guest experiences while coordinating instructors, guest services, and transport.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Hakuba location across private lessons, guest services and operational support.
• Set location priorities aligned with the broader Rides strategy.
• Maintain a positive, accountable culture reflecting Rhythm’s values.
• Act as senior escalation point for staffing, guest, safety and operational issues.
• Represent Hakuba in leadership, planning and operational meetings.
• Drive financial performance, labour management and instructor utilisation.
• Foster strong relationships with resort partners and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a ski resort or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to manage teams, provide coaching and conduct performance reviews.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
