Partner Solutions Architect, Applied AI

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Partner Solutions Architect to join its Applied AI team in Tokyo. In this pre‑sales position you will work closely with global and regional system integrators as well as cloud partners such as AWS and GCP, helping them build and deliver Anthropic’s generative‑AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a technical thought partner for the GTM partnerships team, advising GSI and cloud partner technical groups on Anthropic’s AI capabilities.
• Co‑develop industry‑specific GenAI use cases, reference architectures and best‑practice guides to accelerate partner deployments.
• Provide direct technical assistance on strategic customer deals where partners are the primary delivery vehicle.
• Represent Anthropic at partner workshops, AWS summits, industry conferences and lead technical enablement events such as hackathons.
• Collect and relay partner feedback on Anthropic products to inform roadmap and partner strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in customer‑facing or partner‑facing technical roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
• Proven track record of collaborating with GSIs and/or cloud providers to design and deliver complex solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to C‑suite executives, engineering teams and other stakeholders.
• Strong presentation abilities and experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
