People Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The People Logistics Coordinator supports seasonal employees at Rhythm in Furano, Japan, ensuring a smooth transition into work and life abroad. This full‑time, seasonal position reports to the People Partner and works closely with the Property team to deliver a positive employee experience throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People Admin team with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including accommodation arrangements, staff arrivals and departures, uniform distribution and related documentation.
• Coordinate pick‑up and drop‑off logistics for seasonal staff and act as the primary point of contact for accommodation inquiries.
• Plan, organise and host regular community events and activities to foster engagement among seasonal employees.
• Provide practical support such as accompanying staff to hospital visits and handling inter‑tenant disputes or complaints in collaboration with the Property team.
• Communicate and enforce accommodation rules, including quiet‑hour policies and restrictions on unauthorised gatherings.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide employees on work‑ and life‑related matters.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable, capable of managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can liaise between employees, People partners and property staff.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
