Principal Value Advisor

About the role

Snowflake is seeking a senior individual contributor to lead its Value Advisory practice in Japan. As a Principal Value Advisor you will shape how value is quantified, positioned and delivered for strategic customers, operating at the intersection of business strategy, finance and executive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the most complex, high‑value engagements, including board‑level presentations and strategic‑deal rescues.
• Partner with regional sales leaders to influence deal strategy and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Facilitate data and AI strategy workshops, translating public financial information and internal insights into realistic KPI targets.
• Develop and deliver end‑to‑end value assessments and realization studies that meet CFO‑level scrutiny.
• Create and scale intellectual property such as calculators, frameworks and benchmarking databases for the broader organization.
• Publish thought‑leadership content and represent Snowflake at industry events and executive roundtables.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with experience engaging C‑suite executives in Japan.
• 10+ years in value engineering, management consulting (Tier 1 preferred) or strategic sales roles, with a track record of building methodologies that become standards.
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to lead board‑room discussions and handle objections.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, source opportunities and iterate solutions from concept to scale.
• Willingness to travel 25‑35% across Japan and the region.
