Job description
About the role
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Product Manager to join our Innovation Engine (IE) team. The role will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of new ventures, from initial concept through market viability, operating within our three‑stage innovation framework.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the ideation and discovery stage by running brainstorming sessions, sizing opportunities, and conducting market and customer research to build a pipeline of high‑potential product ideas.
- Drive rapid development and live testing of minimum viable products in a sandbox environment, defining target user groups, gathering real‑time feedback, and iterating quickly based on performance data.
- Assess live MVPs against success criteria, make data‑driven decisions to stop, iterate, or scale, and develop scaling strategies and go‑to‑market plans in collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience, with a strong track record of launching new products from scratch (0‑1).
- Proven experience working within a structured innovation framework focused on rapid experimentation and validation.
- Ability to make tough, data‑backed “stop, iterate, or scale” decisions on new initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, capable of presenting data‑driven insights to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
