Senior Brand Manager – Specialty Category

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead the Specialty category within Vision Care. The role owns brand and P&L management, driving strategy, product portfolio, and market growth in Japan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Specialty category business strategy, including demand generation and new product launches.
• Manage the Specialty product portfolio, annual business plans, and innovation initiatives across product, marketing, and customer experience.
• Lead brand strategy, value proposition, and key product claim development in line with global direction.
• Partner with global teams to shape worldwide Specialty strategy and act as brand guardian for ACUVUE® Specialty brands.
• Coach and develop internal team members, ensuring high‑quality execution across brand, digital, shopper, and trade marketing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer/brand marketing, including new product launch leadership.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration experience; team‑lead experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of the Japanese market and ability to influence global strategy.
• Strong influencing and communication skills, fluent in English for global presentations.

• Ability to manage multiple project timelines, budgets, and resources in a fast‑paced environment.
