Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Strider Technologies is looking for a senior full‑stack software engineer to lead technical efforts in Japan and build AI‑powered data pipelines for the APAC region. You will collaborate with global product, engineering and analyst teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Strider’s technical lead in Japan, providing market insights and partnering with engineers, product managers and analysts.
• Design, develop and own full‑stack features that leverage Strider’s proprietary data assets.
• Integrate frontier model SDKs such as OpenAI and Anthropic into production‑ready AI features.
• Prototype and solve complex system‑design challenges, delivering maintainable code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bilingual in Japanese and English.
• Proven experience building full‑stack applications.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM or AI/ML coding processes in production.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and Java (or similar languages).
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, DynamoDB, Memgraph and search engines like ElasticSearch.
• Use of UI libraries such as Material UI, Storybook and unit‑testing frameworks.
• Project tracking tools experience, e.g., JIRA.
