About the role

Tether is building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of financial products, tokenized assets, and digital currencies at global scale. As a Senior Software Architect you will design, develop, and scale backend systems that support mission‑critical financial and tokenization workflows for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed backend services and APIs that integrate with multiple blockchains.
• Lead the architecture of tokenization workflows, permissions frameworks, and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to ensure enterprise‑grade reliability, scalability, and compliance.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive best practices for code quality and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building large‑scale, high‑availability backend systems.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and tokenization concepts.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work fully remote with a global team.
