Sr. Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition and growth of new and existing customers for our autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and service robot solutions in Japan. The role involves shaping market strategy, driving pilots to full deployments, and collaborating across product, engineering, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers for AMR/service robots, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to contract signing.
• Develop business development direction and strategy based on deep understanding of the AMR market (environment, products, services).
• Create reference deployments by leading pilots/PoCs through to full rollout.
• Expand existing accounts with additional deployments and operational scaling.
• Strengthen current partner relationships and build new partnerships to grow account revenue.
• Review and optimize the business model, including sales and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance) to ensure successful implementations.
• Design, monitor and report on KPIs and roadmap progress.
• Manage pipeline visibility and provide concise reporting to stakeholders.
