Strategic Project Manager

About the role

As a Strategic Project Manager you will develop, launch and manage events from start to finish, working closely with all departments to scale these experiences across markets. You will lead large‑scale strategic projects in partnership with top entertainment players.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a team of project managers in Japan for strategic, large‑scale co‑production projects.
• Develop and maintain high‑level relationships with C‑level executives of major entertainment companies.
• Ensure team members meet quality and revenue targets each quarter, overseeing performance.
• Grow event revenue by maximizing sales performance, customer excellence, and operational quality while managing budgets and on‑site teams.
• Scale experiences to other cities, with travel opportunities.
• Negotiate and close business deals with partners.
• Execute detailed analysis of business opportunities and processes.
• Pitch projects to major entertainment companies.
• Manage internal teams involved in each project.
• Represent Fever at local events and in public relations activities.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in project management, startup, or consulting environments.
• MBA from a top‑tier school is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities with proven team‑management experience.
• Solution‑focused, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define and implement solutions.
• Experience handling complex projects and negotiating with C‑level stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in English and Japanese.
• Advanced commercial acumen and ability to influence all levels of staff.
• Native or fluent English and Japanese; additional languages are a plus.
• Background in event production is not required.
