VP Client Reporting IDS

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Vice President to lead Client Reporting for its IDS platform in Japan. The role combines regulatory reporting, client‑focused deliverables, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure accurate, timely, and auditable information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports, including regulatory reporting such as Basel III.
• Clarify reporting requirements, manage scope and timelines, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Respond to ad‑hoc client inquiries, communicating complex data clearly and consistently.
• Maintain strong relationships with Sales, Product, Operations, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end workflow.
• Investigate issues, assess impact, document findings and recommend next steps.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes, standardising processes, enhancing controls and recommending automation.
• Share knowledge, document procedures and support peer training to reduce key‑person dependency.
• Participate in global, regional and local projects, collaborating across locations and time zones.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably asset management.
• Understanding of performance calculations and investment accounting.
• University degree or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese and English.
• Client‑focused mindset with a strong commitment to quality and risk mitigation.
• Open‑minded, collaborative and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
