Product Management Lead – Japan

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Product Management Lead for its Consumer Engagement (CAE) portfolio in Japan. The role will drive execution and localisation of global and regional products, collaborating with the Japan division and cross‑functional teams to grow services revenue and strengthen Mastercard’s position in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Execute commercialised global and regional CAE products in the Japanese market.
• Develop localized product and service capabilities through partnerships with local stakeholders.
• Provide market insights, regulatory implications, and go‑to‑market plans to identify new revenue opportunities.
• Partner with the Japan division (IMK, P&I, IMC) to align product strategies with services revenue goals.
• Collaborate with account teams and Services Sales on business development for merchants and issuers.
• Gather market feedback to inform regional and global product teams on sizing opportunities and product perception.

Required profile

• Proven track record in product management, commercialization, and business development.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into actionable business objectives.
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to manage multiple components of the business with minimal supervision.
• Ambitious, results‑driven mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
