AI Deployment Strategist

About the role

Snowflake’s Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team embeds within enterprise customers to design, build, and ship production AI systems. As an AI Deployment Strategist you partner with senior leaders to transform business operations through AI, turning strategy into concrete, ship‑ready programs.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with C‑level executives to understand business models, revenue drivers, and friction points where AI can add value.
• Translate executive conversations into qualified engagements, authoring realistic Statements of Work and navigating IP, data rights, and contract terms.
• Grow initial engagements into portfolio‑wide relationships across multiple business units, becoming a trusted Snowflake partner.
• Filter and qualify field‑originated pipeline, ensuring technical complexity, deployment readiness, and commercial viability align with FDE capacity.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on pricing, scope, and delivery commitments while they manage the primary commercial relationship.
• Provide market feedback on customer pain points, use‑case patterns, and competitive dynamics to inform product and engineering strategy.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a trusted advisor to senior executives, with independent C‑suite relationships.
• Fluency in both AI technology concepts and business strategy, able to discuss architecture and P&L in the same meeting.
• Experience scoping and closing complex enterprise engagements, including writing and negotiating Statements of Work.
• Ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder procurement, legal, and security reviews without a sales‑first approach.
• Hands‑on use of frontier AI tools and the ability to build executive‑level presentations and technical demos.
