Lead SAP Consultant – Tokyo

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive SAP S/4HANA deployment for large‑scale manufacturing programs in Japan. The role focuses on solution architecture, template governance, localization design and guiding the development team through build implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution discovery, standard conformity workshops and architecture design for Japanese expansion.
• Act as design authority, approve solution deviations and ensure compliance with governance.
• Define and manage integrated architectures for SAP and non‑SAP systems (MES, PMC, legacy, third‑party tools).
• Provide clear direction for solution delivery and promote implementation by the build team.
• Liaise with Japanese business stakeholders, global process owners and IT leadership.
• Oversee roll‑out programs and ensure data consistency across integrated SAP modules.
• Support SAP FI components (FI‑GL, FI‑AP, FI‑AR, FI‑AA) configuration and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture and implementation.
• Strong background in SAP FI functional modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and financial reporting.
• In‑depth understanding of Japanese tax, accounting procedures and statutory closing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale deployment projects in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with global and local stakeholders.
