Order Management Specialist – III Level

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Order Management III professional to support its sales operations in Tokyo. You will create quotations, maintain sales orders in the ERP system, and ensure customer requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Create quotations and opportunities in the ERP system and provide them to customers.
• Maintain accurate sales orders in the ERP system.
• Escalate and follow up on unmet customer requirements.
• Handle complex customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in order management and related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices, market competition, and how the role integrates with other functions.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, taking new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Effective interpersonal skills, able to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
