Senior CMP Customer Engineer

About the role

The Senior CMP Customer Engineer collaborates with senior field service engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment. The role uses digital analytics for troubleshooting and applies basic diagnostic techniques under guidance. It involves direct customer communication and on‑site technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers in installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics for troubleshooting.
• Apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues with guidance.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided).
• Coordinate and communicate directly with customers.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Completion of an associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.
• Ability to meet on‑site safety, environmental, and COVID‑19 protocols.
• 1–2 years of customer/field service support experience (preferred).
