Business Unit Operations Director

About the role

The Business Unit Operations Director will lead division or segment operational programs, driving cross‑functional execution across multiple regions to meet and exceed business and financial goals. This senior role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for delivering cost, margin and balance‑sheet performance in a fast‑moving semiconductor equipment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage division P&L or a segment operational program management office.
• Develop and drive cross‑functional programs across multiple regions and business units to achieve financial targets.
• Coordinate product portfolio prioritization, budget alignment and COGS reduction plans to meet gross‑margin objectives.
• Optimize cash and inventory management to improve balance‑sheet performance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and reduce end‑to‑end cycle time from order receipt to customer delivery.

• Recognized as a functional “guru” with deep expertise in leading‑edge technologies.
• Influences internal and external business or regulatory issues impacting the organization.
• Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams and provides thought leadership.
• Proactively identifies and solves complex problems using innovative methods.
