About the role
The DDP Manager III, Customer Engineer leads customer relationships and engineering teams within the district, ensuring successful system installations and ongoing support for Applied Materials' semiconductor and display equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer relationships across all levels, conducting regular visits.
- Manage, coach, and direct district customer engineers, handling salary and career planning.
- Serve as primary interface with product divisions for technical support, training, spares, and reliability.
- Oversee account planning with District Sales Engineer and provide financial forecasts and cost‑efficiency measures.
- Plan and execute system installations, including pre‑facility and start‑up meetings, and manage RMA procedures.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and customer relationships.
- Ability to drive financial results and cost‑efficiency for the district.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills within defined policies.
Required skills
- Experience with system installation and start‑up processes.
- Knowledge of RMA procedures and customer engineering hour tracking.
