About the role
3M is seeking an EMD Application Engineer for its Power Market Technology division in Kanagawa. The role focuses on driving growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and product commercialization within the power utility and cable accessory sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that create new market applications and commercialize products.
- Develop compelling value propositions and coordinate field trials with lead customers.
- Replicate high‑impact product/market applications using e‑tools and digital resources.
- Shape industry standards and practices by leveraging market insights and regulatory knowledge.
- Deliver customer‑focused training through electronic media.
Required profile
- University graduate (4‑year degree) or higher.
- Experience and technical knowledge of cable accessories.
- Professional background in power utility companies or cable manufacturers.
