IT Specialist – Coordination, Operations & Architecture

About the role

As an IT Specialist at Bosch Group in Yokohama, you will coordinate central IT initiatives, manage local IT processes, and ensure the architecture and security of both on‑premise and cloud solutions align with Bosch standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and own local IT initiatives, processes and cost‑tracking activities.
• Communicate IT changes, manage licenses, subscriptions and develop support tools.
• Evaluate central IT proposals and external supplier solutions against local requirements.
• Develop and maintain IT architecture plans and security protocols.
• Provide consulting for on‑premise and cloud solutions, collect user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct security assessments, design and implement security measures.
• Monitor locally operated systems, keep configuration documentation up‑to‑date, and manage end‑to‑end solution lifecycles when required.
• Track usage of centrally supplied services, flag issues and liaise with central IT for resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience; Agile methodology preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and scripting tools.
• Background in IT architecture design, information security, risk management and compliance.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, network protocols, security technologies and cloud security architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
