Manufacturing Supervisor – New Product (CAR‑T) at Fuji Plant

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead CAR‑T operational coordination, cryopreservation process development, and inbound/outbound shipment processes at the Fuji plant in Shizuoka. The role combines hands‑on manufacturing oversight with people‑leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage CAR‑T coordination, cryopreservation process creation, and shipment processes while complying with site SOPs and work instructions.
• Represent the team in JJRC, external GMP/CGTP audits and drive continuous improvement based on audit findings.
• Develop and implement action plans to achieve departmental and site performance metrics.
• Promote Lean/6‑Sigma methodologies and support JJPS/JJOS deployment to strengthen plant culture.
• Coach and develop team members to sustain effective CAR‑T operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Experience in people management.
• Practical experience with regenerative medical products or aseptic operations in a GMP environment.
• Basic business English communication (TOEIC ≥ 650).
• Familiarity with GMP/CGTP regulations and Lean or Six Sigma concepts.

Required skills

• GMP/CGTP knowledge and frontline experience.
• Equipment qualification or validation experience (preferred).
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge and project experience.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
