About the role
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for its Hematology division within the Innovative Medicine Medical Affairs group. The MSL will build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, communicate scientific data, and support the development of medical strategies for Janssen products.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain trust‑based relationships with key individuals (KIs) in the hematology therapeutic area.
- Deliver fair, neutral scientific communication and gather insights on unmet medical needs.
- Lead MSL projects and tasks, analyze findings, and provide input for disease‑area (DA) strategy and medical action plans (MAP).
- Support senior MSLs and contribute to the development of junior MSLs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align scientific evidence with business and medical plans.
Required profile
- BA/BS in medical science or related field (required); MA/MS, MBA, Doctorate or pharmacist qualification is desirable.
- 2+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, clinical development or research.
- Strong presentation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Required skills
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
