About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Lung Cancer will build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and support the medical affairs strategy for Johnson & Johnson's oncology portfolio. The role focuses on scientific communication, insight gathering, and execution of the lung cancer MSL plan.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Individuals (KIs) in lung cancer and other solid tumors.
- Communicate scientific data and fill knowledge gaps using medical materials.
- Collect and relay insights from KIs to internal medical affairs teams.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the MSL and medical affairs plans.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science required; MSc, PhD, or MD is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a medical institute.
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience leading complex projects.
Required skills
- High‑level Japanese and English communication.
- Experience in oncology, preferably lung cancer.
- Understanding of local regulatory policies and industry codes.
