About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will support the Immunology, Pulmonary Hypertension and Nivolumab portfolio within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. Reporting to senior MSL leadership, the role focuses on building scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and delivering the medical plan.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key individuals (KIs) in the therapeutic area.
- Communicate scientific data fairly and neutrally, gather unmet medical needs, and feed insights to the DA team.
- Lead and execute MSL projects, analyze findings, and contribute to strategy and MAP development.
- Mentor junior MSLs and support cross‑functional collaboration.
Required profile
- BA/BS in medical science or related field; advanced degrees (MA/MS/MBA, PhD, Doctorate) are desirable.
- 2+ years experience in pharma, medical affairs, clinical development or research.
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Commitment to Johnson & Johnson Credo values and integrity guidelines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong scientific communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze clinical data and generate strategic insights.
