Mid Market Account Executive – Uber for Business

About the role

Uber for Business is expanding rapidly across Japan and needs a proactive Mid‑Market Account Executive to build a community of corporate customers. This hunter‑type position focuses on acquiring new businesses with fewer than 2,000 employees and driving adoption of Uber’s mobility and delivery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a semi‑annual go‑to‑market strategy to exceed sales quotas in the Mid‑Market segment.
• Identify prospect pain points, craft compelling narratives, and generate qualified leads.
• Own the full sales cycle—from qualification and education to pricing, contract negotiation, and launch implementation.
• Prioritize high‑value opportunities and engage key decision‑makers to maintain rapid sales velocity.
• Maintain a mature pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and deliver transparent data to leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure seamless account onboarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in tech solutions or platform sales.
• Proven ability to manage 0‑to‑100 pipelines and close direct‑sales acquisitions.
• Track record of value‑based selling and narrative‑driven positioning.
• Business‑level English fluency and strong adaptability in fast‑changing environments.
• Excellent organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
