Senior Manager, Procurement – Global Transportation

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement (Global Transportation) to lead multi‑modal transport sourcing and supplier management for a $100M portfolio in Japan and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year transportation sourcing strategies, covering air, ocean, ground, rail and parcels.
• Partner with Global Category Leadership and APAC stakeholders to drive cost savings, total‑cost‑of‑ownership improvements and KPI performance.
• Design and implement APAC‑specific sourcing strategies for air and ocean freight, expanding from Japan and India to other markets.
• Lead compliance activities related to Japanese transportation procurement law.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement experience, preferably in supply chain or transportation.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing and talent development skills.
• Fluent in English and Japanese with ability to present complex information.
• Proven ability to prioritize, think strategically and manage projects across functions.
