Software Engineer – Developer Tools & Deployment

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to enhance developer experience and streamline deployment processes for our automotive and cloud platforms. You will collaborate across engineering teams to identify friction points, build tools, and improve the overall velocity and reliability of our software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain libraries, frameworks, and tools used by engineering teams.
• Develop and test scalable deployment solutions for automotive and cloud environments.
• Optimize compile and build times using technologies such as Bazel, CMake, and Docker.
• Improve software deployment pipelines and data‑collection frameworks.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the software stack to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluent in English and Japanese, both written and spoken.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a bilingual environment.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Go, Java, Kotlin.
• Build and CI tools: Bazel, Buildkite, CMake, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
