Staff Supply Planner

About the role
The Staff Supply Planner will support the supply chain function in Tokyo, ensuring optimal inventory levels while balancing cost, service, and efficiency. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams on ERP upgrades and other integration projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage purchase, production, and transfer orders to maintain optimized inventory.
- Support SCM‑related projects, especially ERP upgrade initiatives.
- Coordinate sales and operations planning activities with guidance from senior team members.
- Monitor and analyse SCM KPIs, driving transparency and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and local service providers to enhance supply reliability and agility.
- Handle non‑conformance management for damaged purchased goods.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English.
- At least 2 years of supply chain planning experience, or 4 years in related material management roles.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of SAP R/3.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4.
- Working knowledge of SAP APO.
- Working knowledge of SAP IBP.
