Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day supply chain operations for its distribution center in Ota, Tokyo. The role ensures smooth material movement, compliance with regulatory standards, and high‑performance logistics across receiving, storage, and distribution of finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise individual contributors, manage performance, and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Oversee the entire warehouse workflow from component receipt to final product shipment, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and transaction verification.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing competitor activity, optimizing processes (Lean, CIP), and leveraging digital tools for efficiency.
• Manage supplier performance (SLA), risk management, and operational continuity plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of supply‑chain or warehouse experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• University degree or equivalent education.
• Strong English communication skills, able to present and participate in meetings with global teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication abilities.
