Associate Director, ATTR Marketing

About the role

Alexion Japan is looking for an Associate Director, ATTR Marketing to prepare ALXN 2060 (acoramidis) for launch in transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). The role develops marketing and go-to-market strategies and executes commercial launch tactics in close collaboration with Sales and other business unit members, reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, ATTR Amyloidosis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ATTR disease area and ALXN 2060 asset strategies cross-functionally and champion the brand behind the launch strategy
• Lead detailed commercial launch tactics and ensure flawless launch execution across Sales and Marketing to hit revenue targets
• Manage branded communication, including positioning, messaging, channel mix, HCP segmentation and target prioritization, and lead marketing programs from design to execution
• Engage key customers for insights and speaking engagements with Thought Leader Liaison teams
• Define leading and lagging performance indicators, evaluate brand health and use market and customer dynamics to guide the brand

Required profile

• At least 5 years of biopharmaceutical marketing experience in Japan
• Prior launch experience in rare disease and/or specialty care
• Bachelor's degree in science or another relevant field
• Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English

Required skills

• Deep understanding of marketing from strategic and operational perspectives
• Experience in sales or other direct customer-facing roles
• Ability to mobilize the field sales organization and translate patient needs and scientific data into commercial strategy
• Ability to guide market research projects and work cross-functionally

Preferred: experience in alliance partnerships, cardiology customer relationships, fluency in English, and an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS. The closing date is 30 October 2026.
