Deal Management Finance Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Deal Management Finance Manager to support the Japan division in developing, planning, and executing profitable business agreements with issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The role combines financial analysis, deal structuring, and stakeholder coordination to ensure commercial success and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist account and business development managers in structuring complex deals for new and existing customers, from initiation through closure.
• Conduct rigorous financial reviews, scenario analyses, and benchmark assessments to evaluate risk‑return trade‑offs.
• Negotiate with business owners to improve deal terms and ensure profitability for Mastercard.
• Provide guidance to the legal team on deal structures and assist with finalizing legal documentation.
• Communicate corporate and regional policies, establishing review processes to maintain financial control and regulatory compliance.
• Build financial acumen within the business by delivering training and insights on deal economics.
