Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our global team. The consultant will work directly with customers to gather requirements, provide business insights, and guide best‑practice implementations, including support for Japanese‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle consulting activities: presales support, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and end‑user training for Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Evaluate customer business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality and document detailed business requirements.
• Develop functional design documents, facilitate decision‑making, and support user acceptance testing.
• Provide production support, quality assurance, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, global teams, and product vendors to ensure project standards and resource alignment.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest D365 F&O features and technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a subject‑matter expert in D365 F&O with end‑to‑end implementation experience.
• Strong ability to create high‑quality functional specifications and gather detailed requirements.
• Excellent business communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a global, multicultural team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Project Management certification is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations expertise.
• Proficiency in Japanese language.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Sure Step implementation methodology.
• Business Intelligence, reporting and analytics experience.
• Understanding of software implementation lifecycles and integration concepts.
