Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Ascent Robotics is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and server‑side services. You will work with a multinational team in an English‑speaking environment, contributing to both front‑end and back‑end solutions while ensuring robust infrastructure and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end and back‑end components for web applications.
• Build and manage server‑side applications, databases (especially MySQL), and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and secure AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Participate in requirement definition, risk management, planning, and schedule control.

Required profile

• Native‑level Japanese communication skills (or JLPT N1).
• Strong ability to understand and manage requirements, handle risks, and plan projects.
• Excellent multitasking capability and readiness to respond to unexpected issues.
• High motivation to learn and adopt new technologies beyond core expertise.

Required skills

• Python (required), Java, JavaScript.
• AWS services: ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda.
• MySQL database design and management.
• Infrastructure design with security configuration and data storage management.
