Enterprise Software Solution Consultant – Manufacturing Execution Systems

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Solution Engineer in Osaka, Japan, to provide pre-sales support for its Plex offerings. The role supports the Plex Sales Team in helping customers transform digitally through Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM). It reports to the Manager of Solution Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support (technical, operational and value-oriented) to the Plex Sales force.
• Support customers on their digital transformation with MES and MOM.
• Ensure a consistent and efficient handover to the delivery organization so engagements close successfully.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact and influence across all levels of the company.
• Strong commercial, product/service/solution and application skills.
• Willingness to travel moderately to extensively, mainly within the region, with possible opportunities in other global regions.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid policy: employees work at a Rockwell location at least on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays unless there is a business reason to be out of the office.
